How to trim a video

Choose your video and play it.
Pause where the clip should start and press Set to current time next to Start. Do the same for End. You can also type times like 1:05.5.
Press Save video. The clip plays through once while it's recorded, so a 30-second clip takes about 30 seconds.

How long can a WhatsApp status be?

WhatsApp status videos can be up to 60 seconds. Instagram stories are split into 60-second parts.

Will the quality drop?

The video is re-recorded. With High quality the difference is hard to see. Choose Smaller file to share on WhatsApp.

MP4 or WebM?

MP4 plays on every phone and computer. WebM is offered when your browser can't save MP4 (for example, older Firefox versions); it plays in browsers, VLC and most Android phones.
