How to get the audio from a video

  1. Choose your video. The sound appears as a waveform.
  2. To keep only part of it, drag across the waveform.
  3. Press Extract.
Which videos work?

MP4 and MOV from phones, and WEBM. The video must have a sound track. Very large videos (over about 1 hour) may be too much for some phones.

Can I convert a YouTube link?

No. This tool works with video files on your device. Downloading from YouTube is against its rules.
