Make a time-lapse of a science experiment, speed up a long tutorial, or slow down a sports or dance move.

How to change video speed

Choose your video, and optionally the part to keep.
Pick a speed. The preview plays at that speed so you can check it.
Press Save video. A 2× video takes half its length to save; slow motion takes longer.

Does the sound change pitch?

No. Your browser keeps voices at their normal pitch, so they just talk faster or slower. Above about 2× speech becomes hard to follow, so you may want to remove the sound.

Is slow motion smooth?

Slow motion repeats frames, so a 30 fps phone video slowed to 0.25× can look jerky. Videos shot in your phone's slow-motion mode work best.
