How to scan pages to PDF with your phone

    1. Put the page on a dark table in good light, and hold the phone straight above it. Tap Take a photo for each page, or choose photos you already took.
    2. For each page, drag the four blue corners onto the corners of the paper. The page is straightened as if it had been scanned.
    3. Pick a look. Clean scan makes the paper white and the writing dark. Black & white gives the smallest file and is best for printed text.
    4. Press Make PDF. Pages appear in the order shown; use ← and → to change it.
Is this good enough to submit an assignment?

Yes. Most schools and colleges accept a clear, straight PDF like this. Check that the file is under the size limit; if not, lower the quality or use Compress PDF.

Why is there a shadow on my page?

Clean scan removes most soft shadows. For strong shadows, take the photo again with the light coming from the side, not from behind you.

Can it read the text in my scan?

No. The PDF holds pictures of your pages, so the text can't be searched or copied.
