How to copy text from a PDF
- Choose your PDF. Leave Pages empty for the whole file.
- Press Get text. The words appear on the right, in reading order.
- Press Copy text, or download it as a .txt file you can open anywhere.
Why is the result empty?
The PDF is probably a scan or a photo of pages. It holds pictures, not text, so there is nothing to extract.
Lines are broken in the middle of sentences. Can I fix that?
Tick Join broken lines into paragraphs. Lines are joined unless a line ends a sentence or is followed by a blank line.
I need the layout too, not just the words.
