Which format should I use?

JPG: best for photos and online forms. Small files.
PNG: best for screenshots, logos and pictures with see-through backgrounds. Larger files, no quality loss.
WEBP: modern format, smaller than JPG at the same quality. Some older apps and forms don't accept it.
iPhone HEIC photos: most browsers can't open HEIC yet. On iPhone, go to Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible to save photos as JPG.
