    How to resize a photo for an exam form

    1. Read the photo rules in your exam notice: width, height and file size in KB.

    Questions

    My file is smaller than the minimum KB. What happens?

    Small, simple images like signatures can come out below the minimum. The tool first uses the highest quality, and if it's still too small it adds harmless padding data inside the JPG so it meets the minimum. The picture doesn't change.

    What's a good signature scan?

    Sign with a black pen on white paper, take a straight, well-lit photo, and tick "Make signature background white" to remove grey shadows.
