How to convert CSV to JSON

Paste your CSV, open a .csv file, or copy cells straight from Excel or Google Sheets (they paste as tab-separated text, which is detected).
With First row is headings on, each row becomes an object using the headings as keys. Turn it off to get a list of lists.
Numbers like 92 become JSON numbers. Values with leading zeros, like 007, and very long numbers stay as text so nothing is lost.

Are quoted values with commas handled?

Yes. Values like "Rao, Asha" and quotes written as "" are read correctly, including line breaks inside quotes.

Two columns have the same heading.

The second one gets _2 added, so no data is overwritten. Blank headings become column_3 and so on.
