How to crop a PDF
- Choose your PDF. The first page appears with a crop box.
- Drag the corners to the part you want to keep, or press Find the margins for me to trim the white edges.
- Choose whether to use the same box on every page, trim each page by itself, or crop only the page you're looking at.
- Press Crop PDF.
Is the cut-off part deleted?
It is hidden, not deleted. Every PDF reader shows only the cropped area and prints only that, but the hidden part is still inside the file. Don't rely on cropping to remove private information.
Will text stay sharp and searchable?
Yes. Cropping changes only the visible area of each page, so text, links and quality are unchanged.
