Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 November 2026
This policy explains what information FreeStudyKit ("we") collects when you use freestudykit.com, and how it is used.
Files you use in our tools
Our tools, including the passport photo maker, image to PDF, image compressor, exam photo resizer, all PDF tools and the developer tools (JSON, XML, Base64, JWT, hash and others), work entirely inside your web browser. Your photos, files, code, tokens and passwords are not uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see them.
Some tools (the PDF, Word, HEIC, QR code and YAML tools) download well-known open-source code libraries (pdf-lib, PDF.js, mammoth, heic2any, qrcode-generator and js-yaml) from the public content delivery networks cdnjs (run by Cloudflare) and jsDelivr when you first use them. Like any website request, these networks receive your IP address and browser details. Your files are never sent to them.
The invoice and rent receipt makers save the details you type in your browser's local storage so the form is ready next time.
Information stored on your device
We save a few small settings and your work in your browser's local storage so the site works the way you left it: your text size, paper size, word counter text, flashcards, study timetable, bibliography, resume details and mock test progress. This stays on your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly analytics to count page visits and understand which pages are useful. This data is collected in aggregate and is not used to identify you.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show you ads based on your visits to our site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or visit aboutads.info to opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies.
- You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used.
Children
Many of our visitors are students. We don't ask for names, accounts or any personal details, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. On pages made for young children, we ask our ad partners to show non-personalised ads only.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we use your email address only to reply. We don't sell or share it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Questions? Contact us.
